Reconnection
Tonight as I was in my usual end of day reconnect with Ava spot, nursing her on the couch, I asked Matt to take a picture. I wanted this simple everyday moment captured. He grumbled a little. So I explained. I wanted a picture of nursing her that wasn’t a selfie. I wanted this normal piece of my motherhood locked in a moment to look back on. I don’t get in the full picture enough. And I need to be.
There we are coming back together after a day apart. There we are admist everyday life. It’s normal. It’s daily. It’s us.
